This sight is the world's only totally internal laser sight. Laser aligns with barrel for maximum accuracy; fingertip activation on take-down lever. Ambidextrous switch is built into our customized take-down levers - simply press to turn the laser on or off. Laser replaces guide system - completely internal, nothing external.

Sometimes, it is possible to improve upon a good thing. That is exactly the case with the Lasermax Internal Guiderod Laser. This laser sight has many things going for it that other laser sights do not… For one, it is completely internal, replacing the stock guiderod in your pistol, so there’s no external housing to snag, and the pistol and laser will fit perfectly into a regular holster, and yet still give you the advantage of a laser sight.
Secondly, the laser aligns right along the underside of the barrel, with no need for adjustment. The laser aligns totally parallel to the barrel for maximum accuracy. The on / off switch is internal as well, cleverly hidden within the slide lock. You push it in from either side to turn it on. The middle position is off.
With the internal laser sight, you don’t have to obtain a proper sight picture on your target in order to be aimed right at it. As long as you see the red dot, you know that’s where the bullet will hit. Installation Takes 5 Minutes. If you can field-strip your gun, you can install your LaserMax sight - no gunsmithing required! Almost instantly you'll have a laser-sighted weapon which can be used outdoors from dusk till dawn, or indoors round-the-clock. With the Lasermax sight, there is really no need to zero or re-zero. It comes permanently aligned from the factory for center-of-mass accuracy at 20 yards.
The red-orange laser dot shows up as a ¾ inch circle at 25 yards, and the battery life is 1-3 hours of continuous use. That translates to months on end of momentary use, which is most likely how you’ll be using it in real life. You know, on for a second or two, then shoot, then off.
